As the Green Party candidate, Lynne will need to gather thousands of signatures from July 7 - August 18 in order to get on the ballot. She legally won't be allowed to petition until after the major party candidates have already gathered their signatures. Lynne co-founded Triple R Events: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle which partners with local businesses, community groups and artists to organize free green events in LIC/Astoria such as the annual Queens is Green Fashion Show and local clothing swaps which encourage reuse.
